Mediatrip to up-comming eco-resort in Jessore

How could sustainable tourism in Bangladesh be developed?
With the objective to combine sustainable tourism theory with best case practice in Bangladesh, the Bangla Vision and Canvas lifestyle magazine was invited on a two day media trip in November 2009. The event was hosted by Majbritt Thomsen, owner of Views On Tourism, and Kristin Boekhoff, owner of Panigram Resort.

Our destination was the up-comming Panigram Resort , a luxurious boutique eco-resort in the contryside of Jessore. The concept of the resort has been developed through more than two years of research, product development, set up in business and finding international partners and resort location. All this work is notable in the smallest service details as well as the company focus on having a positive community impact.
Panigram Resort is currently under construction and anticipate opening in early 2011 – but some things are worth waiting for.

Have a peak into the Panigram eco-experience.
