Hi Kristin.

Thank you for your valuable insight on the local expat market – this is new and very positive information for me.
Please share with us your estimation of the local expat market size.

There is a general lack of knowledge about the existing Bangladeshi tourism markets, in terms of both the domestic and inbound market. To plan and develop the tourism sector it would make a huge different to get data about the home market (expats and Bangladeshis) and inbound market (Bangladeshi expats and foreigners).
The potential and demand of each market would be highlighted by valid insight on numbers, demography, length of stay, reason to travel, consumption, expectations, values and demand etc.

While your numbers of expats registered at the Embassies is a good starting indicator, there are many expats here who are not registered at their embassies or consulates. Whenever I poll people, it is usually 1/3 are registered and 2/3 are not!
