This photo shows several tourist vessels anchored near Kotka forest office in the Sundarbans recently. While tourism there is booming, it is not without effect. A few of these vessels had loud overnight concerts onboard for the tourists, despite forest officials’ repeated requests not to hold such programmes considering preservation of tranquillity of the wildlife habitat.
