Royal thoughts from Bhutan – Changing World and Timeless Values

His Majesty the Fifth King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck, during his five-day state visit to India from 21 to 26 December, 2009, delivered the 2009 Madhavrao Scindia Memorial Lecture. In his speech, His Majesty shares the insights and values of how to bring balance in an era of increasing chaos and material development. His Majesty talks about the increasing need of values, of how these values can guide us through the great problems of the world and how they foster well being, security and happiness.
