Strategy for Sustainable Business Development in Tourism

On the 10th of April 2010 faculty members and MBA students of Jagannath University, Dhaka, was the host of the seminar with the topic ‘Strategy for Sustainable Business Development in Tourism and E-Banking. The goal behind this seminar was to find out the potential sources of business in Tourism Sector, E-Banking and how to implement strategy to initiate Sustainable Business Development in Bangladesh.

The connection between tourism and E-banking is described as ‘the two potential sources of sustainability’ in the seminar presentation from Jagannath University. In this same presentation it is highlighted that “Tourism and E-Banking both have the potentiality to develop the strategy for Sustainable Business in Bangladesh perspective. When foreigners would come here to visit the natural beauties of Bangladesh, they could make their reservation earlier through E-Banking. They would like to pay by credit card and the other mode of payments. Thus overall tourism sectors as well as E-Banking system are closely related and it is necessary to make strategy for sustainable long term Business linking with Tourism and E-Banking development in Bangladesh.”
